The Illest Villains

It appears that in this 24/7 drunken stupor I’ve been in known as college orientation week, I have not uploaded nearly enough rap as I would have liked to. To counter this, I’m sharing four very different gems that I’ve been blasting repetitively the last couple days:

First up we got the O.D.B. killin’ it with “Brooklyn Zoo” one of his releases outside the Wu-Tang Clan. The Ol’ Dirty Bastard was truly one of the most memorable members of the Wu-Tang clan . With his unique style and being fucked up essentially nonstop, it’s no wonder why he is so widely appreciated in the Rap genre.

Up next we have “Rhythm” by Awol One & Daddy Kev. This song has a very jazzy feel to it, keeping it smooth as butter. (I first heard this song in the snowboard video “Picture This” a very well done film for you readers scratching your skin off waiting for winter)

Third, we have the one and only MF Doom, the illest villain. On this track he is under the alias “Madvillain” which is just one of the many he has acquired over his years of rapping. Analyzing Dooms work is very difficult for me (mostly due to my lack of wit and humor at the moment), so I’ll just let the song speak for itself.

Last of all we have Ninjasoniks “Bars”. This song is pretty much how I have felt being in New York City so far. It has a very confident feel to it, and is definitely a song you could find yourself getting drunk to. I am dying to see these guys live, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about their shows. Check them out and see them live if you can.

Thanks for listening and reading,
